AI Automations Guide

The Marketing app drafts your campaign kits, posts, emails, press releases, and messaging from the facts you provide. You review and edit everything before it goes out.

Save to Library. Any document this app generates can be saved straight into your shared Document Library with the Save to Library button on the export menu, then found anytime at docs.allinonenonprofit.com (version history, search, org-wide).

How AI Automations Work

Improve an existing document with AI: Besides drafting from scratch, you can upload a document you already have and let AI improve it. On the AI Automations page, use the "Improve an existing document" card: pick a file (Word, text, or a text-based PDF), and AI returns a cleaner version plus a prioritized summary of what changed, with your original kept. It opens in the Document Library's Improve with AI tool with the document type preset.

Open AI Automations from the sidebar, directly under Dashboard. Some automations work from records already in the app (your active campaign, an event, a persona, a sequence, a press release); others take a quick input right on the card (a topic, your updates, your mission). Several apply their results straight back into the app after a confirmation.

  • You are the editor. Drafts use only what you entered and never invent statistics, quotes, or results. The press release drafter even marks its quote as a placeholder for you to replace with a real approved one.
  • Every output opens in an editable preview with Copy, Text (.txt), Print, Word (.docx), and Email, plus Apply where there is a matching field in the app. Existing text is never replaced without confirmation.
  • Pricing: included with your All In One Nonprofit All-Access subscription.

Full Campaign Kit Compiler

The flagship. With a campaign open, one click drafts its complete starter kit from the campaign's goal, audience, dates, and notes: the value proposition, three to four key messages, the call to action, three announcement social posts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), and the announcement email.

The review screen lets you apply the messaging to the campaign and add the social posts as drafts on your Social page; the email is there to copy into your email tool. Fill in the campaign's goal and audience first; the kit is only as good as those facts.

Best workflow: create the campaign with a clear goal and audience, run the compiler, apply, then refine each piece in its home page.

Email Campaign Draft with AI

On the Email Campaign page (Channels group), which composes a one-off email broadcast to your marketing audiences (prospects, contacts, donors) and sends it through your organization's own connected MailerLite account. Composing the email and building recipient groups are free; the AI drafter itself is the AI feature.

List a few topics or bullets for this send and it drafts the sections and a subject line, framed for a marketing audience, dropped straight into the composer to edit. It uses only what you give it and never invents facts, names, dates, or results; specifics it does not know are left in [brackets].

Connect MailerLite first (Technology app, Communications), then pick a recipient group and choose Create draft, Send now, or Schedule. Only email people who opted in.
Campaigns & Events

Event Promotion Kit

Pick an event from your Events page and get a complete promotion plan sized for a small team: pre-event promotion (channels, timing, sample copy), day-of communications and social moments to capture, and the post-event follow-up that converts attendees into supporters. Apply writes the three plans straight into the event's plan fields.

Content & Channels

Email Sequence Drafter

Pick a sequence from your Email Sequences page and the automation drafts three emails (subject, preview text, body) matched to its trigger, spaced across days 0, 3, and 7. Apply writes all three into the sequence, ready for you to edit each one.

Brand & Audience

Brand Messaging Builder

Type your mission and a few facts about your work; get an internal messaging guide: a 25-word elevator pitch, three tagline options, three to five audience-ready key messages, a boilerplate paragraph you can drop into press releases and grant applications, and your voice described in three words. Do this one first; it sharpens everything else you write.

Press & PR

Press Release Drafter

Pick a press release from your Press page, type the news facts (what happened, when, where, why it matters), and get a news-style lede, a body with a clearly marked placeholder quote, and a boilerplate About paragraph. Apply fills the release's fields. Always replace the placeholder quote with a real, approved quote before sending to media.

Content & Channels

Newsletter Drafter

List your updates (one per line) and an optional call to action; get a scannable newsletter with a subject line, preview text, a warm opening, a short section per update, and a closing ask. Copy it into your email platform and edit there.

Brand & Audience

Persona Builder

Pick a persona from your Personas page, describe that audience in a sentence or two, and the automation fills in demographics, motivations, barriers, message angles, and the channels to reach them. Apply writes all five fields to the persona, where you can refine them with what you actually know about your community.

Content & Channels

Social Post Pack

Type any topic (an event, a milestone, a program update) and optionally the platforms, and get four ready-to-edit posts with varied angles (story, fact, invitation, gratitude) and suggested hashtags, sized for each platform. Copy the ones you like into your scheduler or add them on the Social page.

AI drafts are writing assistance, not facts: verify every claim before publishing. The Marketing app is part of All In One Nonprofit.
